Commercial building Neuer Wall

Hamburg / 2005

Competition 2nd Grade

The “Neuer Wall”, as a traditional upmarket  business location in the Hamburger City is transforming its appearance at the present time. The City’s inaugurated model innovations area BID (Business Improvement District) is providing a rapid regeneration.

The idea of the concept is based on the existing building structure with a new modern image: bright, open and retaining in value. The main entrance area remains on the street “Bleichenbrücke”, but preserves a distinct link to the “Neuen Wall” address. The loading zone has been realigned in order to allow the office entrance and the tenant’s logos to have a clearly visual contact to the “Neuen Wall”.
