1st Prize Competition for Realisation

These new residential buildings will become an integral part of the surrounding urban structure forming a small quarter with its very own identity. At the same time, this uban composition consisting of space-defining solitary buildings form a link between the existing closed perimeter block development on the one side and the open linear structure of a row of buildings on the other side. They are all four-storey buildings integrating into the horizon of the existing building structure and tree population. Two buildings on the side of the road Moorkamp form a gateway to the inner part of the block in which four buildings – following a slight curve – enclose the common, the linear centre of the premises as a whole.
